Cherry Crest Adventure Farm is a must if you are visiting Lancaster County, PA! From the gorgeous farmland views, to catching glimpses of the Strasburg Railroad, to the one of a kind rides and activities, Cherry Crest is old fashioned family fun at it’s best!
Not only does Cherry Crest boast a fun corn maze, but where else are you able to test your strength with the Tractor Pull, jump on a giant air filled pillow, or crawl through hay bale tunnels?
Braden’s (age 6) favorite attraction at Cherry Crest is the Pedal Karts. It’s basically go-karts with a fun farm twist. There are two tracks. One is slightly larger for the older kids and one is smaller and has a fun tunnel for the younger kids.
Zion (age 7) loves ALL the attractions but one of his faves was the Hay Bale Tunnel! Here is Braden working up the nerve to go in the dark tunnel.
Sienna (age 10) prefers one of Cherry Crest’s newer features called the Round Bale Racers!
Maya (age 12) and Xander (age 14) like the Country Road Carts where there are four seater carts that take a long dirt road around the back part of the Farm.
Out of all five of the kids Xander, along with Big Papi and myself enjoy the actual Corn Maze the most. You are given a map together with a tall flag to carry (should you get lost) and have to find clues hidden throughout the maze in order to find your way out.
It’s challenging and can take upwards of 2 hours to complete. Fortunately, there are food stops as well as games to play and places to sit and rest.
We love the corn maze and plan to go back soon to try to complete the Flashlight Maze which is in the dark!
Bring your own bottled water! There is not a lot of shade at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, so during the summer months it gets hot! Bring your own water to avoid having to purchase it there!
Apple Cider donuts and Kettle Corn! I am all about packing your own food to save money, but sometimes you need to splurge on local fare. Our crew LOVES their apple cider donuts and Kettle Corn.
Start at the back! If you show up when Cherry Crest Adventure Farm opens, be smart and take your crew to the back of the park first to avoid crowds.
Wear closed toe shoes! I one time made the mistake of wearing sandals and lived to regret it. Many of the attractions (including the Corn Maze!) have a dirt floor and your shoes and feet will get covered in dust!
Bring your stroller! If you are visiting Cherry Crest Adventure Farm with kids age 5 or younger you will want your stroller or wagon. The park is very spread out and you will do A LOT of walking.
Pricing for Cherry Crest Adventure Farm varies depending on the season, the day of the week and what activities included. Prices range from $12-$33 for a day pass. Check out their detailed pricing here!
Since our family is local to Cherry Crest Adventure Farm we purchase something called the Bounce Back Pass. This pass allows us to return to the farm as many times as we want from July to September. We highly recommend this pass if you plan to visit more than once in a season!
